Shamanic Drum Circle with Jill – Glamorgannwg Indigenous People

For this evening’s workshop, we are proud to welcome Jill who will direct us in a shamanic circle and drum journey. She will call in the directions and create an altar to the elements in the centre. She will teach a basic drumming rhythm and what it means. Then direct us in Earth chants which we can all join in with if we wish. She will then close the circle with our collective voice and positive intentions and after a break, she will lead us in a drum journey.

Please bring drums if you have one, there will be a few spare for borrowing, plus other percussion. Please also bring a camping chair (there are limited chairs available) and a blanket and mat or sleeing bag for the drum journey.

You can join in as much or as little as you wish, or just come to immerse yourself in the sound and energies! The drum circle will last approximately 1.5hrs with time for break before the drum journey.There is a suggested donation of £5-£10 to Jill for this event for community members, and £10 for the public. Please book below and pay cash on the night.

Jill Grange has been drumming in shamanic circles for 7 years, and now holds her own circles.
She is a Reiki Master and a Priestess of the Rose.

Drinks and snacks are available at the theatre bar. You are welcome to come along by 6.30pm to settle for the workshop.
