How we use Donations

We raise funds through our events, workshops, cafe and by attending events where we sell donated secondhand items. We are also grateful to receive regular monthly donations from our members, and sometimes one-off donations are received by those who appreciate our mission.

How Donations are used

Donations go towards the development and growth of Glamorgannwg such as putting on future information events and work involved with achieving a Nation status.

We take on Community Cases such as violations of our rights and any action that is detrimental to our People or humanity as a whole with the assistance of Cymru Community Trust. Examples are Natural Health Awareness Campaigns, and opposing planning decisions such as water fluoridation and applications that would destroy areas of significant historical interest.

Self-sufficiency

We save up to purchase equipment required to produce materials for the community in-house, ensuring true independence and moving us more into a separate jurisdiction. An example is we have purchased an ID card machine for providing Indigenous People ID cards and Beneficiary Cards for those with a Trust with Cymru Community Trust.

Giving back to the Community

The well-being and empowerment of our community is paramount. We are therefore using some funds to assist with access to an increasing number of services and benefits, all aimed at enhancing the well-being and enjoyment of life of everyone in our community, while encouraging self-sufficiency, self-determination and empowerment. Our regular meetings and workshops also provide emotional support and friendship for individuals who feel isolated and alone due to feeling or thinking differently to those around them, hope for those who are afraid of what a conventional future holds and connection to other like-minded individuals.

We offer the following – either subsidised or free to our community:

Meeting Educational Needs

  • Weekly Workshops subsidised/free workshops of interest to our community’s education and recreation
  • Monthly distribution of ‘The Light’ Truth Newspaper – copies are purchased for distribution to the People, to assist in sharing awareness of what is really going on

Ensuring Essentials for Life

  • Legal Assistance – discounted assistance for individual issues through Cymru Trust
  • Natural health assistance – discounted consultations for those who are otherwise unable to afford to seek alternative health treatment
  • Help for other essential products and services that may be required
  • Seasonal Fayres – providing an opportunity to sell/offer any crafts or services
