Event Type

This evening’s workshop is an Introduction to Britain’s Hidden History group, focusing on the works of Cardiff Forensic Historians Alan Wilson and Baram Blackett, which was promoted by our late Friend Ross Broadstock.

We will begin by showing a video of Alan Wilson who explains the many aspects of our history that has been lost, suppressed and/or disguised as myths and legend. Topics will include King Arthur of Glamorgan, ancient star maps across South Wales, reading the heiroglyphs using ancient Welsh and much more – proving that the true history of Wales is not what we think, and have much more power and importance than we believe!

Attending the meeting are Tim and Bob, keen local history researchers and friends of Ross. They will be joining in the discussions after the video and will be able to answer any questions you may have. They have both visited the many local sites of interest, and are very knowledgeable on the archeological evidence at each site. In addition, Bob has a lot of experience with land surveys and the renewable industry and will be able to chat to us about the impact that the huge wind farms will have upon our mountains. We will be arranging guided history trips with them in the coming Spring/Summer.

There will be history books by Wilson & Blackett and Ross Broadstock offered for sale.

Places are limited for this evening. Please book below.
