These events are run throughout the year on Saturdays for our community to get together, including those further afield, to socialise and trade with each other. We have a Summer Fayre and a Christmas Fayre, with some Community Markets in between. We also open the events to the public, though the primary focus is to provide a marketplace and meeting space for the People of the community.
Anyone who is interested in us, Indigenous People and the Cymru Community Trust is also welcome to come along to these day events to receive information on what we are, what we are doing and what we are working towards. There are facilities at each event for joining us and creating your Private Trust if you wish to. You will be able to shop our stalls, visit our community cafe and get to know the People of Glamorgannwg.
Events may offer a presentation on Glamorgannwg and Cymru Community Trust if there is sufficient interest, which includes success stories of community groups and case studies of how Cymru has helped people with different issues. However we will shortly be making an information video of our presentation which will be available on this website and our Youtube channel, so any one interested in what we are doing can find out more at their own convenience.
CAFE
The socialising is centred around our Community-run cafe, which is the main source of our fund-raising at these events. Hot & cold (mostly organic) refreshments and snacks are available, and sometimes we also have some delicious home made cakes with vegan options, all on offer by donation.
STALLS
Stalls are available at every event, mostly run by the People of our Community. There are crafts, natural health, taster therapies, gifts, bring and buy, second hand and sometimes we have stalls for the children too (depending on location and space available). Stalls accept trade, cash and when it is launched, the Glamorgannwg cryptocurrency will also be accepted!
